Need some help from LS1.com mechanics (Non LS1 related)

Need some help for a buddy who has a 95 Silverado 5.7L which he has converted to a 6.2L (Stock block) It is a 2 bolt main
with a 1 piece rear main seal. Question is what oil pan he needs? With stock oil pan he has no clearance for the rod
bolts, when rotating the motor they nick the pan just barely but enough that you can't leave it obviously. We both are
unfamilar with doing a conversion like this but it didn't stop us

The truck is a 4X4 1500 if that matters, so has anyone did this or know anyone that has did this conversion? Not sure where
to post this since I rarely get out of AAG anymore due to slowness of the board now a days and totally not LS1 related.

So to wrap it up in a nut shell:
    1995 Silverado 1500
    4X4
    Stock engine bored/stroked from 5.7L to 6.2L
Rod bolts not clearing oil pan with larger crank

Need Oil pan that will work

Thanks for any answer I can get

He told me he attempted hammer mod but it leaks a bit from the gasket due to slight bend on the pan now. He measured and he has 1.5 in to clear all day.

Sounds like you need an aftermarket pan. You would also have to get a oil pump pickup to match. Would this fit? JEGS Performance Products 50204 JEGS Aluminum Oil Pan. You could also try and call a dealer. GMperformance parts makes a 383 crate motor that fits that truck. They should be able to get the part number for the pan and pickup they use.
