    Need help identifying a song

Illinois has a new radio commercial add for their organ donation program. In the background is a reggae song with the lyrics "Moma said, I dont want to stay..." or something to that effect. Ive been looking for a while now and I cant figure out what the song is. I am fairly confident that its a bob marley song, but I could be wrong.

    Thanks

Knocking on Heaven's Door is a Bob Dylan song...
    GNR covered it.

Mama, take this badge off of me
    I can't use it anymore.
It's gettin' dark, too dark for me to see
I feel like I'm knockin' on heaven's door.

Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door
Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door
Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door
Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door

Mama, put my guns in the ground
    I can't shoot them anymore.
That long black cloud is comin' down
I feel like I'm knockin' on heaven's door.

Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door
Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door
Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door
Knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door

EDIT: Also Eric Claptan did a cover of this song with a Reggae beat...

    Also:
"There was a CD released about a year ago called "A Reggae Tribute To Bob Dylan" or something like that. He re-recorded this as a reggae song. That could also be what people think is the "Bob Marley & Bob Dylan" version." The "Bob Marley & Bob Dylan" version is actually the one from "At Budokan", where a Ska-like version is played."

Im a big GNR fan and I know that song very well. I can assure you that the song on this radio commercial is not a remake of "Knocking on Heavens Door"

I know this sounds like a crapshoot. Hopefully someone from Illinois has heard the radio commercial and will be able to identify the song

What company is the commercial for? Find their website, send them an email and ask.

http://www.statepulse.com/Illinois/2....06.sec.pr.htm I googled "illinois organ donor commercial" And came back with this site. About 3/4 way down it mentions a Bob Marley song "Waiting In Vain" Hope that helps. Here's a link to the video. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...91613808627499
