Need feedback on these rims, PLEASE!
i need some feedback
I work at American Eagle Wheel and ive been trying my best to bring back the 077 and the old style 185. These will only be produced in the high offset for '93 and up. Sizes are TBA
And I have done it!!! but the owner only wants to put them into a conservative production amount...so i need to know which wheel you would rather see. Please help me out and i will help all of my fellow F-Body Brothers get some badass wheels for there rides!!!
FOR THE 077

Gray/ White- 09Ram 1500 83 Thunderturd
They stopped making 077s? No wonder Grand Prix owners are starting to actually find some new wheels In all seriousness I like the look of both maybe chrome as its a lil less work to maintain

my bad... vote entered... chrome is shit... it eventually flakes off... polished... you hit a curb or get a ding you can sand your rim back to perfection... the 185 is a bit more "curvy" if you will and not like a conect the fucking dots paper... i hate rims like that * <--... jsut straight lines in to a circle...

Make sure you have them produce at least a 11" wide rim and I would whore out a pair of 17's or 18's in the '185' model plz...
Oh and Black Chrome FTW!

i'm with you on the chrome. i install wheels and tires everyday, and i hate chrome wheels. always pitted, always peeling/flaking, always corroded on the inside lip where the tire bead meets the wheel. BUT....i do live in michigan, so winter weather is not kind to chrome...or anything for that matter. as long as you wash the salt and shit off of them like, once a week, you shouldnt have problems. salt is BRUTAL on chrome.

Shit. I was voting for the 77's but pressed 185's.
I vote polished but DO FUCKING NOT clear coat them. FUCK CLEAR COATED WHEELS.

Any clear coated wheel i've ever had has chipped or flaked and generally looked like a turd in no time.

Not your style? The owner of the company is a HUGE Ford nut, so almost EVERYTHING he makes is for that bolt pattern, and that offset. They dont really have anything for F-bodies, thats why hes trying to get these back into production. He gets a few calls a day on these wheels, but he cant sell them 'cuz they dont make 'em.

Blue- 2002 Z28 Camaro M6
I have a set of 77s on my Camaro, best of my free choices. Over the last 5 years or so I have had 2 spokes develop cracks. One all the way through an entire spoke and another I caught early. Luckily, they were both replaced for free by Eagle, but when I went to discount to get the last one fixed a month or two ago the one I got was the last one they could find in stock. My biggest problem with the 77s is that they do not make anything wider then 8".
