Need advice on a Dodge Ram 1500

Need some help. I've been looking for a full size truck for awhile, been leaning towards the chevy brand but can't find anything in my price range with less than 150k on it. Anyway I recently came across a 2003 Ram 1500 SLT, 4dr. New brakes and tires a new spray on bedliner and a retractable tanue cover. This truck is in mint condition and has 82k on it. I can get it for 11,600. Is this a good deal? Do the dodge trucks have tranny problems like the rest of the dodge line up? Any help would be appreciated...

no hemi, it's got the 4.7 magnum and btw it's a 2wd.

I haave heard alot about bad trannys in the Dodge , but I dont know since the merger . I think they have gotten better ...

Thats a little steep for the year and mileage. We just sold a quad cab 2004 with 78k on it for 9,800. Keep looking. If you want PM me and I'll get you a nice 03-04 for cheap.
