NASCAR Racing 2003 Season by Papyrus

Yes, I still use it often. They have not come out with a new one since 2003.

Papyrus is no more, Sierra did away with them, because EA got the sole rights to the NASCAR Name and Likeness....thats why the NASCAR Simulations are so hard to find now....copys of NR2003 are going for $100+ on ebay....illegal to be sold in stores anymore.

you may find a used copy somewhere, but not likley...

I'll have to see which ones I have. I know I have a Sierra but I think I also have a papyrus version too.

they are the same.

papyrus was a contract game developer for Sierra. after the NASCAR Rights were bought by EA, sierra could no longer publish any NASCAR Titles...so they were all pulled from the shelves.

Papyrus employees left, and developed www.iracing.com, with the backing of the owner of the Red Sox.

I'll have to dig them out and see what I have. I know one of them was the first year that had the truck series and busch series on it. I think.

that was 2003, and Project Wildifre (Whaty a bunch of ex papyrus employees started after it went belly up) is the designer of the truck, BGN, and Trans Am models available in the game,,,Papyrus already had the physics engine for those in there.... PWF just had to unlockem

When you said "They will" did you mean they will produce a new NASCAR sim? I would like to try online racing but I can never figure out how to get hooked up with a race.
