    NASCAR Fans Gen 6 cars

Been watching the races this year and to me it seems that with these new cars there seems to be more accidents then previous yrs?

IMHO the 5th gen (COT) cars took the racing out of racing, with these new Gen 6 cars they have lost the ability to "draft" effectively off another.

Am I right or is it something else I'm not seeing?

The teams are still adapting to the new cars. They havent been to enough tracks to get a firm grasp on what these cars need to handle, and what changes to make to them. I think it's too early to make any judgments on how the new cars are doing. The 5th gen cars didnt take anything away from the racing, it was just a different kind of car. It had alot less downforce, and was harder to drive and setup as a result. The only things that can take away from the racing is when NASCAR mandates certain parts of the setup, like what springs and gears you can run, etc etc. Even then, the good teams find a way to gain an advantage and be faster.

that's driver error......quit driving into the corners so hard that you have to brake that hard and you won't kill your tires.

From what I've read Phoenix is one of the toughest tracks due to lack of banking angles in the turns like Daytona. This causes the front right (passenger) tire to have more force/heat applied to it then any other tire.
