first time NASCAR has had a same car across the board ... I dont know why they dont just go to carbon-fiber and get rid of all those templates ....

I would like to see the NASCAR of tomorrow be a Jet NASCAR or even Jet INDY ... the main safety feature would be cockpits designed as escape-pods easily jettisoned with parachutes.
I propose 3-5 mile straight-aways into 1 mile 55 degree banking.
Skyscraper Skybooths designed with a complete field of vision looking upon the spectacle for all spectators on the start-finish line would be absolutely t*its.

Interesting because of the unknown. But the C.O.T. is all about safety so I guess NASCAR didn't want to debut it at a superspeedway. Just a short-track where there will definitely be contact, so Bristol is a good start.

I think people are to stuck on the wing = ricer things ... Race cars have had wings since the 40s .... I just wonder how the cars will do at a bigger track , and what it is like to race in a regular CUP car and then get into a COT ???

when I say "better" I let whoever answers decide what it means to them.. They may think of something I havent.. I know a lot of the time at say the 1.5 mile tracks there is usualy onr guy who hits the set up just right and just drives away from the pack ... To me you need 5 good cars to make a good cup race ... Up front fighting for position ..Well at least 3....
