Are both cars stock? What kind of race are you going to do? A dig, a roll etc.

Ok the charger is stock, the ws6 only has a cat back both are auto.........

Oh yea Murder, you definently got him. Charger is too much of a fat ass. Was just making sure the Charger wasn't running a big shot of nitrous or something like that

The Charger SRT8 is rated to do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and the 1/4 in 13.3, it would be close since your both running autos

You have too much faith in what you read. I've never seen a stock one break the high 13's at the track. And I'm talking 13.8xx... My Z went 13.6xx stock.

I'm not really into dodge so I have no idea if thats right, but the new Hemis are good motors

I'd guess you should nudge the Charger out by a little. But if he has any mods at all (a tune for example), that may change.

Here's a stock one running 13.3s & 13.4s. Granted, I don't know what the air was like that day or where this track is located. But those times are fairly common from what I have seen.

No doubt they are good engines. Stock they are OK but they got stuck into some weighty vehicles. I'm waiting to see how the stripped down Challengers they've made as a "body in white" (i.e., strippers made solely to race the 1/4 mile) perform on the track.

I have a friend with a 300C SRT8 (now there's a pig of a car) that he started modding right after he bought it 4 or 5 years ago. They got it down to a high 10 second runner (lots of bolt ons + laughing gas) when he found the weakest link: The rear half shaft. He broke one launching off of the line. A set of custom made pieces (back then everything was 1-off for him) fixed that.
