    Angry !!! My remote for new TV isnt worth a damn!!

    I purchased a Samsung 40" LCD TV last night and my remote isnt worth a damn.... I need it to obey my professional TV watching command when point at the damn wall . I literally have to point it directly at the tv.. Perectly square, dead on.... Then i have to mash the effin buttons... then it waits for 2 seconds or so to change it. This is totally un-execptable. I need changing of channels in light speed.

    Heres the problem... i just blew 1600 dollars on a damn TV. I hate doing shit like that. But i did. I will maybe spend 100$ on a remote. I know there are people with 300 to 400$ remotes. Anyone have a suggestion for a good quality, relatively cheap remote?

    Make friends with someone that works at an electronics store. My girlfriend gets the bad ass remote with a monitor built in, 70 million buttons, and internet capability for just a wee bit over a hundred (normally 450-500).

    ya u gcan get the harmony for 100 bucks right now at best buy, from what I have read they will controll anything that came with a remote. AC, fans, blinds, lights.They say that once u get it programmed they are the shit. One model even comes w/ a charging cradel, i'm deff. gonna spend the money for one.

    i have the same TV in 1080p and I have no problem with the remote. had the TV for 3 weeks now. Xbox 360 has never looked so good...
