I went to pick up my daughter from daycare/nightcare/school or whatever you want to call it tonight. My son was with me and I gave him the choice of the bird or GTO. He picked the bird so I moved the car seats over ( yes, you can fit 2 car seats in the back of a bird

) and we take it.
For the last week or so when I would drive the car I could hear a slight rattling in the exhaust. Now I use band clamps so there's always some type of noise/leak coming from the exhaust but this was different. I had laid on the ground a few times trying to narrow it down but never found it and haven't had time to put it on stands to check it over. It wasn't real loud, just enough to hear.
Tonight I drive the hour one way to pick her up and about a block before her school the exhaust gets noticeably louder. I first think a band clamp has slipped off and that's what had been rattling. We get there and it's dark and I don't have a light so I get out and use my cell phone as a light to check all the clamps.....all there and all tight. I go in and get her and buckle both kids in and start the car and reach under it again with my phone trying to see where the damn noise is coming from. Found it. I lost the plug for my wideband bung. My wideband is currently installed in my header since I'm not using O2's right now. We leave and I'm driving up the road and right in the middle of the road is my plug. What's the odds of finding that damn thing on a dark road after it had come out from under a car going 35 mph? I should play the lottery tomorrow.
