    Is my Battery bad

I have a 2000 WS6 just turned 32,xxx and it sits in the garage. The last couple of yrs. the nattery has gone dead and when i want to drive the car i just use my battery tender to charge it over night and it starts the next day.
So I go to hook the battery tender to my Optima Red top I cranck it and then park the car, I leave the battery tender on it for days, go back to crank it and it just makes the machine gun sound but with alot of charge, not like when the battery is struggling to crank. Is it possible that the battery has learned to not to charge since it stays dead most of the time.

probably shot.....it's hard on batteries to discharge them like that. You should either keep a tender on it all the time or put a good charge on it and unhook it.
