Mother in law is coming, Oh hell No!

I just found out last night my wifes mother is flying in from Las Vegas in two weeks. Damnit! My wife said she's letting her stay in our bedroom so we'll have to sleep on the Futon thing in the family room. WTF? It's my damn house but I have to sleep on the damn futon and not in my own bed? Does something sound wrong with this picture? I'm so pissed off right now. That bitch made us sleep on the couch the one night we stayed with her in Vegas last year and she wouldn't let us borrow one of her cars to get around, we had to rent one. Now she thinks we should let her drive our GTP and sleep in my bedroom, oh hell no! I can feel a BIG, BIG, BIG fight between me and the wife tonight. Ya'll help me out a little, what would you do?

It sounds like a temporary arrangement. You can fight with your wife or just go along with all the crap and have her grateful to you when it is over. Wives tend to act insane when their Mom's come to visit in general (not just your wife). Just be glad it is a visit and not a permanent thing, suck it up, and if you decide to just be nice and go along with things, take advantage of a whole week of Steak and BJ day when she leaves.

Yeah, I agree with you. I never win on these battles anyway. Might as well deal with it and get her ass back on the plane as soon as possible. I get to hear her whole life story again, can't understand a damn word she says either so it makes it ever so exciting.

I have a Mom in law too.

They come back from hilton head in june (live a couple of miles down the road)... It will be a nightmare for a few weeks. I gave up having normal expectations years ago but i can still entertain "thoughts"....

I'd have to take some video of that and send it in to Jackass or something. Talking about Mother in Law ownage! I'd just tell her the kitty has had some major shitting problems lately, it must've been wanting to get petted but couldn't make it to the litter box.
