A fucking MEN. That shit always gets me. They will talk about Anna Nicole Smith and how she died for a goddamn month but heaven forbid mention 1 name of a soldier that died in Iraq!

Because the sad truth is, that so many people are so into themselves and their own personal gratification that when someone like heath ledger dies they feel like it was someone they "knew" whereas all these soldiers are dying and these people are too self-involved to really give a shit because it doesn't "personally" affect them.
i personally have very little sympathy for anyone who dies as a result of drugs/alcohol etc. These people bring it on to themselves and its too bad that they didn't get themselves help - but in all reality it is their own fault.
Ledger basically did it to himself and I will not shed a tear for him, however i feel for his family.

Have they determined exactly what Ledger died from yet? Was it infact a drug overdose? Yes I know there were sleeping pills by his bed, but I would assume thats not really an uncommon thing for people to have bedside? Did he take too many of them?
High five to Montel, because he made an excellent point. We definitely live in a "star fucker" society.

I couldn't watch the video, but that's what I think everytime the news is on. I watch it a lot, I usually just have it on while I'm at the computer, but if they keep following celebrities around like its a reality show instead of reporting real news, I'll probably stop watching.

yea the news and media today is such garbage, taints reality soo much, focuses on the bad and not the good ie progress in the ongoing war vs. deaths, etc
