me vs terminator who will win?

Well a kid in my town just got an 03 termi. Got some bolt ons, he got dynoed the other day and put down 420 and 446 rwtq. My question is can i even stick with him? My friend that has an ls3 vette which i have beaten, im gonna get him to race him to see where i stand. The reason iasking cuz its already hevier than us due to it being a mustang and its a vert and he weighs 300+. He ran an8.5 at 79 says he was spinning but idk when i rode in it he floored it from like 25 and barely spun on a county road... My fastest is an 8.7 spinning in 1st and wheel hopping in 2nd but my trap was 84. Idk im sure he will win. I will get the race of him and vette on video and definitely get mine on video too. Any thoughts??

Go from a dig where anything can happen. Don't get suckered into a roll race, I think he'll take you there.

I was wanting to go from a 45 cuz thats where i beat that vette and its a good spot but his tq is pretty high too so damn idk.

From a 45, I think you'll get ate up, best chance is from a dig.

Alright thanks guys. Ill have the vette race him from a 45 just to c if i get beat cuz if so ill make sure ill only run him from a dig. I really dont wanna get beat cuz the kids goal for 2 years has been to beat me. And he hasnt done good at all so far

Traction and torque wins races and it sounds like he might have the edge on you in both categories. Best chance, like mentioned, is to race from a dig and HOPE you beat him out of the hole!

A solid axle should have an advantage over an independant rear as far as I know - he should have the edge in torque, no doubt.

lol i hope but you have heads and cam... im not saying i would beat you but before my tune i raced a ws6 with stall 3.73's and ls6 heads and a cam, i dont the size but he put down 380 somethin hp he couldnt remember the actual number and 392 tq. it a toss up, i sending ls3 as a gunieu pig lol

Whats your car running in the 1/8th and 1/4 OP?

It will depend on his launch I would say. I worked wiht a kid who had one.....it didnt take much to run low 12s high 11s with it.

8.7s at 84mph...as stated in the original post. He has a higher trap speed than the termi, which would indicate more power. However, traction seems to be a serious issue for the OP from what he's describing.
