I would say it is the airlines fault for letting him on... I am sure he payed for a seat. It said he was allowed to board after a jetBlue flight attendant agreed to give up her seat and travel in an airline employee jump seat.

yeah. i didnt really think about that first comment. if the attendant gave up her seat then they should have just stuck him on a later flight?

2 million dollars? gimme a fuckin break... every asshole is so gung-ho to cash in on the slightest inconvenience. They shouldn't have let him board in the first place and definitely shouldn't have told him to hang out in the shitter but does that entitle him to 2 MILLION DOLLARS? Fuck No!

Fuckin people these days make me sick.

Next time i go into a store and their debit/credit machine is down.. i'm going to sue them because i suffered extreme humiliation and had to go to an ATM. I will sue for extra punitive damages because i had to wait in line again after i went to the ATM.

that report seems really one sided although they clearly screwed up. I would've said " How about I sit in the pilots seat and you hang out in the shitter until we land". Then I would've just waited on the air marshal to take me down.

Sounds fishy. There has to be way more to the story. Im sure there are all kinds of laws that prevent them from letting extra people on. Why would both pilots and the flight attendants risk there jobs for someone they don't know? Thousands of people get screwed out of flights everyday. Why would this flight attendant make one exception just for this guy?

He was flying on a buddy pass or "Standby" You really have no rights when you fly that way, but being forced into the Lav is just plain wrong. They should not have let him board on the plane.

The airline fucked themselves by letting him on. They have to stand their ground on things like this. If theres no available PASSENGER seating, your ass stays the fuck off the plane. too bad. A pilots orders are to always be followed as well. He is the head mother fucker in charge on that plane lol
