Whats the black thing coming off the back? It would look a lot better without that imo

That's the rear fender. Yeah it looks good fro a 250. It would be ok for a beginner or a female. I would not ride a 250 unless it was a dirt bike myself though.

I think they are great little commuter bikes .... But with so many used 600s out there with very little miles on them ...I would rather have a bike with bars opposed to clip ons ..but thats just me ..

my 250, which I bought for the woman and ended up riding myself. Has been fun as hell and I cracked off a 14.2 quarter mile @ 89 MPH stock as it came from the factory. I'm keeping the old one and getting a new one. they are fun bikes and cheap to own

yeah they look really good compared to the now old ones. It's actually a huge deal in the motorcycle community.

It is a big improvemnt over the older style, but I still love my blue 07 650r better. Maybe it will help people start off with with a smaller bike, because it does look alittle meaner than the older and outdated model.

I love how people talk shit about "get a real bike" then I see the same squid rack off a 13 flat on his 08 600RR, way to go pal.... A bike is a bike, Ride it, enjoy it. Better yourself as a rider. End of story

Ive been looking for a starter bike but after riding a 250 ninja, I think Ill need something a bit faster. Very dull even for a commuter bike

Its only dull if theres no curves, I've never ridden a bike that wasn't fun. Go take the MSF course, they supply... well they used to supply little honda rebel 250s. Once you pass then you can decide if you want more than a 250. the Ninja is alot faster than the rebel. But they're close enough to make up your mind. If you can be careful a Katana or SV650 are very nice starter bikes or an older F4. happy motoring

The site says 55 to 70. I tracked my mileage at the race track with it at redline 99% of the time and I got 42 at WOT all the time. So what it gets just cruising, I don't know lol. I know its good though. Its costs 10 bucks to fill up and I get about 250-300 on a tank. But since it doesn't have a fuel gauge I fill up at 200-250 to be safe
