LS1 and its total Misery. Saddens me Honestly

I just dont get it. I can understand certain members that are nothing but trouble being banned, slapped with the warning stick repeatedly. But to do this to a long term member who has helped out more people than 95% of anyone else here.... just plain ole sucks. I love this site. Loved it for a couple years now.

Luos being "Misery Banned" is just completely childish. I disagree 100%. For one, why the heck did he get this? That guy does nothing but help out around here. He knows some shit, cause he has been through it and wasted alot of money finding what works.

I played around under his user name and it was un-believable.

within 15 mintues maybe

20+ blank pages while trying to download new page
20+ re-directs back to main page while trying to download new page.
15+ "Server too busy, try later" ( I NEVER SEE THIS!)

20 to 35 seconds for 8 out of 10 page downloads!! I have one of the best internet connection money can by a man. ! ! ... !

This Misery ban stuff is just ridiculous.

One thread was completely deleted from Luos on why this happened. 3 full pages went by and still no response from anyone higher up on the food chain. IE. Moderators.... Hell maybe the Admin?

Come on guys, lets at LEAST answer questions about whats going on here.

Food for thought. I was on LS1.com for over an hour with blazing speed page downloads, no page re-directs, no blank pages, no "server too busy", no 30 second page downloads....

Then I get on Luos account and all this shit starts happening. Strange really.

Then I log out, and sign back in.... Everything is gravy baby. Mine working fine.

Come on guys, lets talk about this like men(and women) and get this stuff out in the open so we can resume life like it was before on LS1.com.

interesting. I dont know what Curtis did. But I know what a nice guy he really is. He obviously pissed off the wrong guy and I know hes a cynic. But the guy is going through a tough time right now. His daughter's day to day routine is a struggle. He makes plenty of tech posts and for the most part keeps a low profile. Speaking for myself I have no direct problems on this site, i consider it home and i wanna keep it that way. i stay out of trouble. But i would love to know what was so bad that luos did that he has his current status.

AND THAT FUCKING SUCKS! It does not make him a miserable user. It makes him a Father who is struggling with a sick daughter. That little girl is the cutest little thing ever, and she will pull threw. No doubt.

Look, I have had Zero problems with this site since I started here. I dont start shit, I dont make shit... Usually.

But this has to be answered.

yeah im a little curious to see whats going on as well, luos has always been helpful and i think if anything he deserves an explanation. IMO a moderator of the forum should step up and do there job

Maybe I just dont know exactly whats going on here... but I just dont think Luos would repeatedly lie about not knowing why he was misery banned.

I know he has been going throught alot. And from what I have noticed did help out others. With that said this is a private board. I know I am not the owner of this board. When I asked for permission to post on here there were rules I would have to follow. Alot can go on behind the scene that most if not all are not aware of. Because of that I dont think this has to be answered. I moderate a local board and had to ban a very well liked user. Like you asking here many on there asked why. Trust me banning is the last thing mods or admins want to do. But when it is done it is usually done for a good reason. And some of those reasons may not be for public consumption. Just my 2 cents.

i agree with you 100% but shouldnt the person banned at least know why

Did you "misery" ban them?

There is too many variables in that post compared to this.

I had no idea that he was banned...

I knew he was having trouble posting though. I also knew he had a lot going on with his little girl. I wish her all my best. I found him very helpful in the short time I have been her as well.

I also think that he should at least have a reason for his banning.

We obviously don't know what the problem is. And, it may be none of our business. But, he should have an answer IMHO

Yes they knew why they were banned.. And was agreed on by all the mods and admins. Thats how it works on most boards. Cant have a rouge MOD who gets mad at someone just ban a person. That would not be correct.
