Lets talk about buying/selling stock
Anyone on here active in the buying and selling of stocks? I've been doing it about a month now and I've made close to nothing but any is better than none. It has been kind of fun actually, so far I wish I would of invested in Ford back in January when they were at $1.87 with $500 because I would of made around $12,000.00 if I sold those shares at $13.00. But it is what it is. Just looking for some sound advice on what to look for in companies and learn things from members who have or are investing in stocks.

I think I'll stay away from that for the most part. There's too many crook investment managers out there.

buy low sell high....thats all i know...and research the companies you are interested in owning stock in...usually, oil companies are a pretty sound investment, but even more so are the supply companies like national oilwell varco, cameron, slumberger, and such...just do a little research...youll get it.

I would invest half of it in low risk mutual funds and then take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities...
