1997 Grand Cherokee- 1999 Firebird.
Let me ask you something about Walmart!!!
When one of those inbred, toothless, social rejects working the door at Walmart wants to check your reciept for no damn reason as you are leaving, what can happen if you tell them to fuck off and keep walking? I'm tired of having to pause what I'm doing so I can prove to some minimum wage assclown that I paid for everything in my bag! I bet I could sue those fuckers.

I usually just keep walking...even if they tell me to stop. I know I paid for everything. Apparently they aren't allowed to chase you either

Laws vary from state to state. In Pennsylvania, the store employee would have to have probable cause to suspect that a person has in fact shoplifted in order to detain them. The law then provides immunity to the store should a person be detained. Probably similar in other states as well. I see a handful of Walmart shoplifters every year. Last one I had, the person bought an item to obtain a receipt. He then returned to the store the next day, stole the same item off the shelf and promptly walked up to the return counter to exchange it for cash.

no big deal for me, their usually nice old people just doing their job. I enjoy BSing with them a little bit. The one that works the door at the new Zion IL. location is funny as hell for a little old lady. She reminds me of on of the Golden Girls.

they only check for items that aren't in bags. if you are holding bags, 1just keep on walking. if they are busy talking to someone else, refer to 1.

AFAIK in CA you do NOT have to show them a receipt.
it's different in costco cause it's a membership place

+1. walmart is the reason i have to find peddlers on a corner for my chili powders, tamales, green chili and chorizo. i used to have my grandparents send me and my family plenty of that stuff, but then a walmart opened over there and now all the good supermarkets around there are now closed. all you have there now is safeways, albertsons, target, and walmart. no good meats or vegetables around in wyoming anymore. they have good mexican food in one restaurant but everything else has to be homemade to be good.

Trust me with the long lines at Walmart, you can't be in a hurry otherwise you should have went somewhere else if you were thinking of getting in an out in a fast manner. It is their job. You would hate to go to Costco then....

The only things I buy @ china mart are tires, if they have what I want, and I've picked up laytex paint there too. The wifey shops for groceries there but only for a few things, she goes to several stores on those days aswell for various things grocer wise. If china mart does'nt have tires I want it's off to Sears. I use lowes and Ace hardware for most everything else home improvement wise. Oh and I buy work clothes @ china mart too. We always leave through floral, because there's never much of a line there and no bag checker lol. For china mart tires I drive right up to the tire dep. door and load them up. In and out no hassel.. We NEVER buy electronics from china mart period..
