well, brock lesnar, the big hype, the top fighter in the world(as dana put it) got smashed in the first round by velasquez. great ufc card all around, hope shields doesnt look that bad again, and i think tito should maybe win a fight before he talks the shit he did to hammil.

on another note, whats up wiht the beef between the undertaker and brock, ive been trying to find the back story on it but no luck.

Brock is big, strong, and is a good wrestler, but he does not have the all-around-skills, technique, and cardio endurance that Cain does. That's what separates good fighters.

The fight was very similar to when Shane Carwin fought him. Carwin could have easily defeated Brock Lesnar if he was smart with his punches and not exhausting himself.

Cain paced the fight and looked for his shots, and in the end stomped Brock.

next fight for cain is junior dos santos, but no, carwin will not beat cain, cain is a faster more cardio version of carwin.

remember brock is still an infant in the world of MMA, most of his fights have been against contenders with tons more experience. This loss and his almost loss to carwin will be a great learning experience. Lesnar will come back much improved.

In regards to carwin, carwin did not get gassed or run out of cardio against lesnar, he suffered from Lactic Acidosis. Being an explosive fighter like that, his diet/supplement routine was not balanced properly. Carwins camp claims this has been corrected. We will find out Jan 1st.

In regards to Cain. His title holding racist ass will be short lived.

Lesnar looked like someone took a knife to his face.

They would have stopped the fight for that cut if he hadn't received the beatdown.

And at the end of the Tito/Hammel fight, Hammel looked like he had just came in from a jog, Tito looked like he had just came in from kissing a weedeater.

And the blood! Hammel was covered with Tito's blood and all I could think was "Dude! His wife is a PORN STAR! Wash real quick!"

I think the UFC wanted Lesnar to lose. Hell Cain was getting hyped in the commercials over Brock. The UFC wanted to tap into that Mexican market. What better way then to have a mexican champ. Now look at your next fight... 2 mexicans fighting each other. Coincidence .... You tell me?

Now Lesnar was defending himself.... not as well as he possibly could but he took it worse from Carwin and he still recovered. I am willing to bet the head honchos at the ufc informed the ref that if Lesnar is in any trouble you stop that fight.

what makes the HW class so tough to fight in and have quality contenders is the weight spectrum... Every weight class is seperated by 15lbs, except heavy weight which goes from 220-265.. A 45lb difference.

UFC needs a light heavy weight 205-225, heavy weight 225-245, and ultra heavy weight 245-270..


a 220lb figther that struggles to break up to 220, against a guy that cuts weight to be 265 is, unfair based off other weight classes

no, they stop when your not intelegently defending yourself. laying there not trying to get away or out of it getting beat on, is putting the fighter in jepordy, hence the stop.
