    Learning a second language

Anyone ever tried Rosetta Stone to learn a second (or third) language. I know there are other ways to learn a second language, living in a country where it is the primary language, speaking with native speakers, etc...but I don't really have those options in my life at this time.

I'm looking to learn Greek as my parents thought it would be a hindrance to my sister and I when we were growing up. Now I'm 29 and feel like I missed out on something and would like to learn the language later on in life.

All I know is Rosetta is freaking exspensive. Check the local library, they have cds you can borrow and copy for learning other languages. I have the Portugese ones as my wife is Brazilian and I wanted to learn. Was doing ok before I lost interest. I'll pick em back up again sometime soon again tho.
