IN LAWS and a vette.
Well... you know how the in-laws can be...
My g/fs step-dad has a 76 vette(cherry) that wont crank... i guarentee i can have it fixed in about an hour ....hes worked for days on it.......
but hes the kinda guy who sells a brand new truck when a u-joint is going out...
Anyway hes been a dick to me after bending over backwards for him in the past....
so should I??????
A. Fix the car.. make it better.. show him up to piss him off...
B. Screw Him... too nice of a car to be sitting there..do it for the cars sake...
C. Ignore the Situation...(current)
Im leaning towards b...
Ive gone outta the way to keep some old rides on the road...
hurts me to see them set....
YOU PICK!!!!!!!!!

this should be a poll, but if you try to show him up you could put urself in a deep hole if it turns out to be a big engine problem, think about that, how involved u willing to get if it turns out to be a seized engine or something like that.

I would hate to see it sit too. But, this guy's a duche so it would probably give you some satisfaction to have him tow it and then pay to have it worked on. But, would fixing this car get in in any good graces with him? Or would he think you were just sucking up? Just remember that people reap what they sow, what goes around comes around, etc.

Hah. I know its a relay/ Solenoid/ignition problem. but i dont think he knows what those words mean. Its got valvetrain problems already because that year had a problem with carbon buildup on the exhaust valves.. it ticks like a mother... It hurts me to see such a nice ride collect dust in a cold shop. I think im going to take off work one day and fix it while hes at work... idk... thanks for the insight's. keep em comming.
