Seeing how a lot of people still may not be aware of such great free and USEFULL utilities out on the net that will help keep their system safe and almost problem free. I’ve decided to create a list of utilities and programs that I use to keep my system up to speed.

Following programs are only known to work on Windows XP, not windows vista as of yet.

1) FIREWALL – ZoneAlarm
Probably the best free firewall out there on the market today. Set your system to stealth, unless you’ve directly pissed off a hacker, you really don’t have to worry about it.

2) Registry Cleaner – Crap Cleaner.
Some of you may or may not know, if your registry is cluttered, and has a lot of invalid entries, your system will slow down tremendously. Why? Because if your OS is trying to find what it needs to load and run this program, and it has to search and search and search, it henders the loading process of your system, thus causing slow down.

3) Virus Scanner – AVG Free Edition.
Meah, you know what this is, simple, free and effective, and will update every single day to protect your system.

4) Spyware remover – Lavasoft Ad-aware
Great effective way to remove spyware from your system, that you may or may not know that is on your system!

5) Real time spyware stopper dumi-hickie: SpyBot: Search & Destroy
For those of you using Firefox or MS IE 6.0 (maybe 7.0) this will prevent anything from even attempting to download to your system, however ad-ware still picks up things this doesn’t catch.

6) Neat gadget – Object Dock
If your lazy like me, you hate going to your start menu, all programs such and such, or your desktop is cluttered with shortcuts. Pisses me off. Well object dock is a great neat little tool, that will help you organize your shot cuts on one little tool bar, and fully customizable!

7) Utility website – File Hippo
Great website that offers free programs, to enhance or secure your everyday computer usage.

I put em all in one place...tested and free of any adware/spyware....I dont get anything for it....I also have a forum with some really smart geeks to help you...all free and no advertisements of any kind...I pay 100% and get nothing in return....but feel good about it
