Just bought an 06 GTO

Getting rid of the 02Z28, used to own a 99SS (#281).

I think this is the car that should have been the 6th Gen Z28... except maybe a little more Camaro-like body panels.

What do you guys think?

Thanks a lot! I'm kind of warming up to it. It's not as sporty looking as the Z28 or my 99 SS, but it sure performs.

I got the 6 speed this time... damn, didn't realize how much I missed that. (auto on the 02 Z28, 6 speed on the 99SS).

This one's from Pontiac.com. It's the same exact car, color and all, less the grill trim.

Only got the car a week, too much fun driving it to take time taking pictures... maybe get some pics tomorrow.

I guess I have to move the Z28 off the driveway, which is waiting for a new owner to come adopt it.

Oh... and that's no my actual wind tunnel, either...

nice car, the stock stereo leaves somthing to be desired but the front and back seats at great.

Thanks on the car. Yeah, I'm with you on the stereo a little. Good... nice, rich sound, 10 speakers and 6 CD changer. Bad... could have more bass, like the Monsoon in my Z28 had and the CD player doesn't play MP3 coded disks.

I can't wait for the pics, too. My old Z28 is still on the driveway, too lazy to move it today.

And my Canon Rebel XT CompactFlash Hard Drive is on its way back to Seagate for a firmware upgrade. I guess I could use the Kodak.

I'll get those pics out soon.
