    interior guru's chime in.

Was thinking about customizing the seats in my camaro I want race seats but I also want Electric controls I have now in my seats. Is it possible or feasible to take the stock seat in my ss and add rigidity and side bolsters and rework them so they are more like aftermarket race seats but comfortable or should I just look at aftermarket seats?

Aftermarket seats would be far easier.

"Real" racing seats are NOT comfortable.

I have Kirky layback racing buckets attached to the stock rails so I have electric controls. Getting in and out is a real pain with racing seats due to the high sides.

Drill and some bolts. I actually used the stock rails.... I did buy aftermarket rails for $15.00 but did not need them.

If you want nice looking seats then go for it. The attaching part is basically common sense and a little mechanical ingenuity. The design of the seat frame will determine how you can mount them.
