I think im dying

Last sunday I got a bad case of food poisoning. Ate some chicken and got really sick. Threw up 16 times in a night, and couldnt even keep water down. Im finally feeling better, can eat the normal stuff and have my appetite back. I finally feel buying another can of Copenhagen(thats how you know I feel better). The only problem is when I go poo its black, this has never happened before and I wanna know wtf is going on with my body. My only guess is that im not getting enough nutrients in me, and im not going to the doctor for black poo. But im about out of answers and its shit or get off the pot time for me and im worried.

My wife is a nurse and she say's you need to go to the doctor. Could have bleeding in your GI system.

Honestly, I would have had someone bring me to the doctor after throwing up about ten times... oh, and I don't mean to gross anyone out here or worry you, but if you look up black feces, it means there is dried blood in it. Could be something not to worry about too much, or it could be something a little more serious. If you look at possible causes, there's a bunch of things listed from gastritis to ulcers to cancer.

Of course, I'm not a doctor, but you really may want to think about seeing one.

If it looks like black coffe grounds it's all blood. You might have busted a vessel with all that hurling or something else maybe wrong. I agree with everyone you should go get it checked out unless you will me your car.

Thanks for the input guys, I guess ill be going to the doctor in a few days as soon as finals are over. Its not the chewing thing, ive actually cut back a lot in the past couple of months and am slowing down.

Well I did drink 2 bottles this week. The big size ones. Yea ill do a daily bump on this thread til I know im not dying anymore lol.

Man, I feel bad for you! I have had food poisoning twice in my life and never been sicker. I know all too well about that throwing up constantly. The first time I had it I was sick for 3 straight days and didn't go the doctor like I should have.

simultaneously at several points, awful awful memories. Second time I went to ER and they put me on IV and a shot for vomiting. Took several days to get an appetite back. Second time for me was chicken as well. I truely hope you get well soon and take yourself to the doctor.

They should feed bad chicken to people as a slow death penalty

It's one of those things you can only truly relate to if you've had it. I got it from taco bell......twice. It can only be described as death minus the formalities. The last time I had it our septic system took a shit and I had to call roto rooter out on a Sunday to get it going again. When you're sick and your shitter breaks down you become the richest man in America. I felt like Donald Trump. " I don't care what it costs on Sunday, just get a truck out here."

Well I ran out of toilet paper and didnt have anything to blow the leftover chuncks out of my nose. I had to snot rocket them in the toiler, or atleast try.
