I put my 14 day notice in today
Out with the old job and in with the new. Only part that makes me nervous is that Job security went down but everything else went up.
Pros:
Every weekend off
More pay
Don't have to drive my own car (Gas/Wear and tear)
I don't have to shave
I can wear my earring
No uniform
Better hours
Cons:
Job security
Can't really beat Security for Job security considering the times but being a "Rent a Cop" was getting to me so I finally found a new job and was hired. Should make about $500 or so more per month┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐
Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
Me: That is why no one will remember your name!

You list wearing an ear-ring as a job perk? Serious?
-

Hell yeah
When you are told how you must look for 4+ years (Exactly like Military) then it's a perk
Funny you should be the first to comment because Plumbing/Bathroom remodel is what I'm going back into

...so you're saying you feel wearing an earring is a work perk...

Is it an actual perk from the job.......no. Do I enjoy wearing jewelry in my ear and allowed to do so at my new job......yes.
I've been Military for 4 years and this job for 4 years. Slap that 8 years onto the 18 years my Mother wouldn't let me have my ear pierced while I lived under her roof and you get 26 years out of my current age of 30 years. I myself find it as a perk regardless of how it may seem to anyone else

Actually no I don't It was her house so she made the rules.
I enjoy my jewelry....especially with the 1/2 carat diamond that sticks in it. Love seeing all these fake bling masters in the ghetto trying to rock ice because they think they are rappers but the lil white guy is rocking real stones

And those pros were not in any particular order.......Rockin Ice should have been top priority over the PAY, HOURS, GAS, etc...

Thanks GTP I can understand that but I'll be my own boss and my pay is ranked on how well I work.
I get 2% of the job, they range from $7000 minimum to $22000 maximum. Faster I work and work without mistakes the more I make. I could (In a perfect World) make $11000 for the month before taxes but like I said.....perfect World with perfect match ups. In the real World I'll only pull in about $500 more a month at first and I'll go from there. More I do this shit, the faster I get and with less mistakes. Still would have to be able to get my hands on all the $22000 jobs when there are a few other sharks in the water if you get my drift
Right now there is 46 jobs lined up on back order all at $7000 or more

then I saw this and said " Nevermind what I said before.....that's the gayest shit I've ever heard"
then I saw this and said " No....it's not the gayest shit I've ever heard.....this is."
