I asked my girlfriend of almost three years to marry me. She cried for what seemed forever, then said YES.

I took her to a beach, its famous for people committing suicide by jumping off a cliff called the GAP

...if she said NO I would have pushed her over

Congrats!!

Definately make the most of it. Regardless of what others may say....marriage is beautiful thing...just make sure that you get her to sign a 'prenup' stating if she chooses to not give it up at least twice a week then in the divorce shes is to pay you alimony.

My ex thought he had it bad....after 9 years he was only getting it 4 times a week and little did he realize later on that most men after they get married are lucky to get it at least 4 times a year.

Sex is what keeps a marriage healthly along with communication. I wish you two the best of luck!

Congrats! I too, hoped to have a marriage like my Mom & Dad's (except I could and would NEVER wait on my old man, like my Mom does) and so far after 15 years living together (12 of those married) it has been great!
