I need to make a discussion forum

Can anyone guide me as to where to go to get a discusison forum started?
I need to have a button/link on a website that when they click on it, they are taken to a (mandatory) login for the forum. The forum itself would be MUCH smaller than this one (also unrelated to this one). The forum is to be only available for members, hence the required login.

At first it will consist of being able to post questions and discussions all in one list.
Eventually we hope to allow for a classified section to sell things and job posting, so then there would be two more categories.
It will be very small scale and one guy will have to set it up and moderate it. Also, they want it set up within 2 weeks which during that same time, I have to revamp the website, create an e-newsletter, create new promotional videos and even make commercials for another another company so time is rediculously short.

just googe "forums" and you'll get a huge selection. ls1 uses vbulletin. You can get free ones but they are typically filled with penis enlargement ads. Contact me if you'd like to get something set up, as we'd be happy to get your website up and running.

The website is already hosted but will be recieving a major facelift.
Also, we do not have a server.

you won't need a server-the bulletin board is a web application that can be installed on your hosting serever. HOWEVER if you plan on getting a LOT of hits, then you may consider having a dedicated hosting server through your host. Might I toss hostmonster.com in the mix as a possible hosting environment-they offer a lot of free options and are very VERY easy to work with.
