    i love used car lots

i spend alot of time on lots... alot of them actually know by name and i have salesmen that take care of me every time im on the lots. but you know how lots are they always are filled with idiots and i just happen to like talking to ppl that have no idea what they are even selling

    03 cobra:

this care has been on the lot for about 3 months red drop top... for some reason the front seats are cloth... and they arent mustang seats... the bumper has been cracked and really crappy job of fixing it has been done... and one of the wheels is MANGLED someone has like drilled out a lug hole im guessing as an attempt to get a wheel lock off... could be a nice car it only has 30k on it, but they want $26k for it... i mean sure if they fixed it all, but there is prolly $2k worth of damage to it and when you see a car like that you just dont want to buy it cause im thinking it was stolen and something is wrong with it now...

    03 mach 1:

not a bad car actually mid 50k miles, but it has been smoked in and still smelsl and they want $24k for it... the funny thing is there was an 04 with 7k miles on it right down the road for sale... for $22k... WTF? ive been watching this car for a while so liek the first thing i ask was "have yall decided to come down from $25k on the mach 1?"... dude looked at me funny and said "its only $24K does that seem high?"... i simply responded with "dude your standing next to a $21k corvette with 35k miles on it"

    02 SS:

oh this one was a real winner... pewter m6 with like 60k ont he odo... we will start off small... the airbox lid was like a stock one with the silencers (didnt know ss's had these), clearly in a front end collision, the hood was an ultra z hood, the passenger door popped when you opened it... the cat back was gone (im guessing someone had a nice exhaust set up and took it b4 they traded it)... and the big thing... there was something dangling from under the car... upon closer inspection the rear of the tranny was held in place by a belt... like the thing you keep your pants up with... all of this for the low low price of $17.5k...

its the SLP version, it was real leather with aluminum chain border (Mexican style) and rivets in the holes to prevent ripping. very elite. rated to 1000hp RWHP.

im thinking the rear tranny mounts were shot and that was holding it tight to keep it from banging against the floor boards...

and it was a pretty nice belt...

Can the belt mod be done to the Trans-Am as well? Sounds like it should really cut the 60' times down!
