    I got a flat tire last night : (

It was scary. Then my dad had to come and change it for me in the middle of the road. He was pretty mad. Now he won't help me get a new tire for my car and I gotta figure out how to do it all. Where am OI supposed to go to get it fixed?

Any tire shop can fix a tire if it can be fixed. Maybe search craigslist and even tire stores for getting a used tire(in good shape of course) for cheap.

A tire shop would be a great start!J/K and tell him if we could all predict when we will get flat tires, thats the day when the sun doesn't set!take this as a lesson learned..next time you will be able to change the flat yourself,so you won't have to "inconvienence"him..hopefully you paid attention while he changed your tire!Sometimes people get irritated when they have to help someone..until it happens to them..and then its a different story....

if u have cingular cell phone, sign up for roadside assistance. Its $4 a month and they are very helpfull. I used them twice already.

1st i locked myself out out of my moms car. 45 minutes later it was unlocked at no charge.

2nd my coworker needed a tow 27 miles away. With in 15 minutes a flat bed was there and it only cost me $10.40

You can have the tire plugged if it was a nail that made it go flat. Go to any local tire shop or service station for the repair. The tire should hold up until it is replaced by a new one.

I had a puncture last weekend. I was meeting some people for dinner and my tire got punctured by a half inch screw, I only noticed it because I could hear it hissing. I told the other guys that I'd be right back, drove home really quickly (4 or 5 miles) and jacked the wheel up, and took my dads car back to the restaurant. On the way home after dinner I picked up one of those tire repair kits from autozone, and it was a quick fix.

Even my 9-year-old knows how to change a tire. It's one of those basic skills, kind of like pumping gas, that all drivers should know.

OMG r u seros....u cant b seros girl? Im so sorry for you.

Did you check the blinker fluid, and air pump? Why did the tire not use its back up tube and re-inflate those are good for 30 miles or so until you get to a shop.

Next time that happens get the jack out of the trunk and put it right under the front of the car. There is a thing called a 'Radiator' it is a metal thing with hoses coming out of it to the engine. Go ahead and start jacking it up until you hit the bottom of it. The radiator is used as a point to jack up the front of the car, it will make some popping noises if you never have done it before. Then once you have the car off the ground get a flat head screw driver and hammer and use the head of the screw driver to break the lug nuts loose on your tire. Bam you are done

If your dad is mad at you for getting a flat tire... then your dad is an Arse-hole! It should be his role as a FATHER to make sure his child knows how to do basic things like changing a tire before handing them the keys to a vehicle.

honestly do you have a drop of common sense, maybe thats why your dad is mad because he realized he is responsible for your lack of knoledge , and that you dont know how to change a tire
