lol you have some nerve...
heres a quote from YOU.
certain markets are vulnerable, but as a whole, it's doing OK. Prices will fall, but I don't believe they will fall at the alarming rate you predict. Things will equal off... new housing will drop keeping a steady market.

Custom Slate Blue- 99 B4C
Anyone who didn't call it (most everybody it seems) doesn't have a lot of sense. Not to offend anyone, but how could most people NOT see it?

no, I called the housing bubble about 6 years ago....privately.....to myself.....while buying our current house. I said " There's gonna be a bubble." Then thought....." It may be about 6 years from now."

geezzz you never let a bad idea rest do you. A housing bubble as you call it A: has not burst in a majority of the country, B: is a short term event C: never hurts if you live in a house and continue to make your payments.
This so called housing slump is due to mortgage companies who lied to people who didn't understand the loan they were getting into. Once the next few months is over and the 3-5 year I/O loans reset we will see less and less of these forclosures. The only areas that are in disarray are locations like Detroit where the car companies were the only jobs and they are leaving so people can't work, and are going bankrupt.
In other areas the market is still doing just fine. Home prices are extremely stable and the number of home sales have stayed the same year after year. It's sad how badly in denial you are about the market.
Why did you buy a house in Alaska. I hope to hell you live there more then a year because if not I can see it now. I told you the housing market sucked. I bought this house for $80,000 and then sold it for only $70,000 I lost $10,000 plus all the closing costs I was right. Instead of living there for 10 years like most people do and selling it for 110,000 and making money. Short term investors in homes are not making money, people who buy to live in them still see appreciation over a normal time frame.
Go back to where ever you were hiding the past few months and stop trying to continue spreading this doom and gloom BS.
