    Talking I am so excited!!!

Well, to anyone that knows my last few months history it has been a bit up and down. Well today I said fuck it and decided to spend some of my savings towards my H/C/frame up restoration I purchased some super clean (talking no carbon, most likely because it was cleaned prior to sale ) LS6 heads off a 2002 Z06. I got the heads complete with springs and valves for $500 with 13,000 miles on them. Ready to bolt on but will be doing some P&P along with milling and valve job. What does everyone think, did I get a good deal on them, let me know. I do know that 02 243 cast heads have longer valves then 03-04 and LS2's, I believe the valves are just slightly longer to compensate for the different cam they had in the motor from GM. Tomorrow comes lifters/gaskets/and timing chain. Damn I am floating on cloud 9 at the moment.

Thanks Now its on to the hard part, picking what cam I want to go with and how much I want to mill. I am thinking 62cc is good enough for me, and go with a custom grind. Up in the air at the moment though, I have a lot to think about on my next two days off which starts tomorrow. I have no fear, me and my trusty friend Captain Morgan should find the right way to go

Yeah right. You'll end up wanting to do a TT 402 with a 200 shot if you start drinking and thinking about it.

Oh, I have already ran down that alley. I may just leave the milling alone so I can turbo it down the line. I only want to run about 5-6 lbs of boost but don't want to go too nuts. I know dyno numbers mean nothing but was shooting for around 420-450. 1/4 I want to get around 11.5 - 11.7 with this setup. Ultimate goal is 10.9 - 11.0, then I will be done with the car for life and move on to something else.

For some, I would say you are correct. But my goal is a Z06 or ZR1 or ZL1 when its all said and done. Goal is get the maro flying then get the corvette styling

You'll get bored with its flying and want to go faster even if you get your vette. I've seen it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many times

I guess I can't argue, I have a longggggg way to go until I am at the level that I want to be at. All up hill from here, damn it.

haha, yup. You'll have a fast as shit Camaro then you be like ill just leave the vette stock and just cruise in it. That aint gonna happen. You'll go from wanting bolt-ons to H/C in a sec.

Now I am just hoping that the heads have the notorious triangles by the plugs to make this deal sweeter. Guess I will have to find out tomorrow. DAMN IT SUCKS WAITING

    P.S. I am not a patient person, doesn't help I haven't drove my car is 4 months.
