Read the thing its not his sidekick its his friends. Again i enjoy how you people say "its over a phone" When your car gets stolen, or your wallet we can say "Its only a material item". When you pay for something i would hope you do not just let a theif have it.

I really wonder about the people who say "get over it" it seems they do not know the value of a dollar and thier parents still pay for thier stuff.

umm...a car is more important than a cell phone. all im sayin is there are way more important things to be worrying about than a $300 cell phone thats not even his. he didnt just "let a thief have it" , he LEFT it in a cab which is his own fault. if i would have found the phone i would have done the right thing and given it back to the guy

So someone finds YOUR 300$ phone and you find out who has it. You say "Gimmie my phone MR i just bought it" They say "eat me" you just let 300$ go down the drain?

He offered a reward, he offered not to go to the police if he got an apology and the phone for them mis-using it. He still has got nothing.I think he is handling the situation very well and i hope these people get a nice run-in with the police.

i would have called one of the people in the phonebook of the phone and told them that i had it and to tell the owner to come pick it up or something to that effect.
