How many quarts of trans fluid for ws6?

Trans is an A4

How many quarts of trans fluid do I need?

Also what brands do you guys use for trans and diff?

Stock converter? Stock i think holds about 12 quarts

Yup^^ rbob is right....if your gonna flush ( also changes fluid in the converter) then around 11quarts.....just a mini drain and refill will take half that...

I recommend Valvoline DexVI for all auto trannies regardless of age or year of manufacture.....

Always....I mean always.....fill it up...drive it to gain trannie op temps....leave the motor running .....in park check again and refill as needed.....top of the "HOT" mark....never run a trannie low on fluid....never....I'd rather see you overfill it than underfill it even by a 1/4 of a quart....
