How do you add a folder into I-tunes for Ipod?

Every time i add a folder of music i have from my desktop to i-tunes it just makes a list of single songs from it , but i want it to have folders in i-tunes so my car cd player can search through folders and not thousands of songs. any way to do this?

I guess these are called playlists not folders i just found out? so is it now possible to order me created playlists in alphabetical order?

Yes, they are called playlists. Generally, any music you put into the playlist will be synced in the order in which you put them into the playlist. So if you want it alphabetically by song, you will need to rearrange them manually and then sync with your iPod.
