The horsepower cometh
It's never ending.... At least I hope it's never ending.
Last year we were all going nuts over the idea of 305hp in a V6 pony car, if you can still call them that.
This year we shall welcome the introduction of the 323hp V6 "pony" car
45th aniv Camaro to get 323hp V6

Somehow I knew this would give Smittro a woodie. It is amazing how the V6's have climbed in output -- used to need a turbo to do that back in the day.

Making more with less is the name of the game now. I wonder how far this will go?

2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
323 HP....but how's the torque? What's the dyno curve?
Kinda pointless if the majority of your RPMs are 200-250 HP, then a sudden spike to 323 at 6500 RPMsLS6 intake, Pacesetters, TSP rumbler !EGR, !AIR, 295/35 BFG KDW II's, UMI Adj LCAs. Tick Master Cylinder, LS7 Clutch and flywheel, Pro 5.0, Lous short stick, Frost Tune.

A family friend of ours has a 10 v6 Camaro 6spd..
I like the car.. I also like the low roof line.
That is till I got into it.. Felt like the drivers seat of a sherman tank..
But the ride quality and handling was a night and day step up from the 3rd and 4th gens I've had..
Hard to compete with a fully independant suspension even if we are lighter..
iirc, Early platform tests also indicated that the v6 5th gen handles better than the SS 5th gen also..
