Chalk one up for me this morning

I almost decided not to get up this morning but decide to thank god!

Hole 10
162 yds over water
7-iron

I played like ass the rest of the day but who cares

3rd hole in one since I was 16

Any golfers here?

Congrats man.... I've been playing for about 12 years now, and still don't have any hole in ones yet. I just switched clubs this summer. I'm playing the callaway fusion irons, and i really like how they feel.

This was actually the first Ive played in MONTHS so it felt good to get back out there.

I swung my buddie's fusions and they are a nice feel however I could never leave my copper pings

congrats....ive been playing about 16 yrs and i dont have one yet....closest is about a half inch from the hole directly behind the pin......i thought it was in from the tee

.....3 in your life?? thats amazing..whats your handicap? im about a 15

Yes, this was my 3rd. My second was back on Thanksgiving day '01 while playing with my father and uncle, and in '99 I sunk a 9iron from 145 out on the 16th hole in our region tourny (high school), in front of my mom, current gf and coach so that one was kinda special.

I was a 10ish back then however I dont really play enough to have a remotely accurate handicap these days

Though I seem to play my best when I havent touched a club in months

My lil nephew ( who nows pitches for U of Kansas) loved to go with my brother and myself to Putt Putt....everytime my brother or I would miss a putt we would say "FUCK" sorta under our breath and really did not realize it.....
My sister called me the next morning....said she asked my nephew if he had a good time with his uncles playing Putt Putt...he said it wasnt called Putt Putt...the game was called FUCK.
Oh well.....it's her kid all fucked up not mine

I read somewhere that 1 in 12 golfer hits a hole in one in there lifetime. Granted I understand its 99% Luck

When I was younger I played with a kid who had 2 hole in ones by age 10, both on a par 3 course but still and amazing feat. I witnessed him hit it in from 130ish out w/ a driver..at first I was

my gf had a hole in one from about 115 out on a par 3 course...think it was a 3 wood and over water.....was her 2nd time EVER golfing.....beginers luck?
