Hennessey Performance Tuner School
They are now starting their own 16 week course. I wanted to know a lil bit more about it so I emailed them about a month ago and this is what I got yesterday.

Welcome and thank you again for your interest in Tuner School! You are about to attend one of the first tuner schools in the country. As a new student you will find the expert team at Hennessey Performance to be a valuable resource. Our staff is always here to answer any questions you have regarding your education while attending our school.
Hennessey Performance provides our students with one of the finest professional designation programs in the country to rapidly advance your automotive career. In order to further assist you in your career advancement, we have attached an application for you to review and submit. Some of you have already received the applications. Fundamental skills taught at Tuner School will include:
· Chassis Dyno Operation
· Air/Fuel Calibration
· Turbo Systems
· Supercharger Systems
· Nitrous Systems
· Engine Management Tuning (SCT, AEM)
· Brake Systems
· Suspensions (Street, Drag & Road Race)
· Drag Racing
· Road Racing
· Alignments & Corner Weighting
· Safety Equipment
· Fuel Systems
· Cylinder Heads, Cams & Valvetrain
· Manual Transmissions
· Auto Transmissions
· Speed Measurements / Telemetry
· Racer Math
· Basic Fabrication
· Exhaust & Header Systems
· Tools & Equipment
· Parts & Vendors
· Engine Dyno
Our mission is simple: Equip our students with the fundamentals skills and knowledge such that they would be an asset to any tuning company in the world!
At the conclusion of the First Class at Tuner School, the top graduating student will be offered an entry level position with Hennessey Performance. Also, all students will have free access to any public event at Lone Star Performance Park. This includes free track time.
Our first class will begin September 2008. Tuner School is a 16 week Program. The program consists of Combined Classroom, workshop, and Race Track Learning. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Classes are not held on weekends or on major holidays. The 16 week Tuner School program is $14,500.00 limited to 20 students.

other then that hes a dishonest business man i am curious as to what kind of school this really is, as when he does build cars the way he says he does, they do come out well. there has been good cars that have came out of his shop. he does know vipers. the price of that school is honestly very good in comparison to the other schools out there. its like half the price. i wonder if he actually delivers?

ok I dont really know anything about them other then they are big into dodge.

only thing I dont like is there is
23 classes
400 hrs
that means there is about 17 hrs per cause
which is only three days of learing something.
cost is $14,500 which comes to $181.25 a day.

We have scheduled the following Open House Dates for Tuner School:
2-4 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2008
2-4 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2008
2-4 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2008
2-4 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2008
Come meet and talk with Mr. Hennessey and our staff, tour our facility, view our cars, and possibly get a ride in a Hennessey vehicle on the track!
