    Help with new purchase.....

Well guys I have been given the OK from the wife to purchase a classic car. I live in california so it will have to be something pre-1975 so that it is smog exempt.....but I am unsure on what year make and model to get.....Camaro SS, Challenger....etc etc ....any suggestions on the year or make of what muscle car used to rule the road back in the day that i should get, would be greatly appreciated!

I'd look into either a Camaro Z28/SS, Chevelle SS or Cuda.

If I could have anything, I would be spending a lot of time figuring out what I wanted first, then finding exactly what I want, in the condition I want.

1970 Chevelle would be my first choice, but they are so rare that I would have to resort to something else...

    California?
How about a big pink electric car with a Socialist Hammer and Sickle on it.

LOL...I'd buy a 05 or 06 GTO. I lived through and owned all the 60's muscle cars. POS.
Pay $15K and get a modern muscle car that runs circles around the old stuff and rides a kagillion times better and less headache.
