Help with firefox

I installed firefox the other day on my computer and i really liked it and planned to keep using it. Yesterday it wouldn't connect to the internet, and this morning i re-downloaded it and gave it another try, but it still won't connect to the internet. I'm back to using IE. When i try to update it i get a "AUS connection refused" message.

I'm thinking maybe somehow that program got blocked by my firewall. I have PC-Cillin and i tried to find some kind of block programs list but i couldn't find one. Anyone have a clue what is going on here?

mine works fine too. They just had a new update the other day. Try turning off the trend micro firewall, or windows firewall. If all fails just reboot PC and install the PC cillin it should work.
