Got pulled over today

So I got pulled over today and he wrote me a ticket for excessive acceleration. Im supposed to contact the judge, But I was wondering if anyone knows about how much it will cost me? Its my first ticket, I dont know if that makes a difference.

Being it is your first offense. You should be able to take traffic school. You will probably get 6 months probation. After that your record should still be clean. In the end you will pay court cost and the cost of traffic school. Here you can do the traffic school online for like $40. Court cost depends but I would think around $100..

If anything, completing the traffic school would make it lower than it otherwise would be.

Here in Oklahoma the cost of insurance will not go up after the school.

accessive accelleration.... that's a ridiculous ticket! nothing like that here in germany. (plenty of other ridiculous stuff though.)

my very first ticket was excessive acceleration ( did a burnout in front of cop) he was gonna write it as a wreckless driving, but stuck with excessive acc. i contacted the judge. he said i can either pay the ticket (90 dollars) or write a 3,000 word essay on safe drving and theyll make the ticket disappear as if it never happened. i opted for the essay. they approved it and the ticket never went on my record

just pay it and get over it. if you are under 25 your f*^ked any way. my 1st ticket at 16 was for speeding 80 in a 65 and i got cort cost and lost my license for 30 days.

Man I would totally pay $90 to have someone write a 3,000 word essay.
