So I hate the bamboo that got imported from china around here. The shit took off like wildfire, growing tall and thick into an impassable border blocking your way to, say, a critical fiber terminal that needs maintenance. If you havent dealt with mature bamboo shoots, imagine a green pipe a little bigger around than you can grasp, very springy. about 15 feet tall. you can bend almost the whole thing to the ground before it will snap. Well I need to get to the fucking terminal, therefore I start clearing the shit with the Patented Modulistic Technique (PMT) Climb straight up the shit with your monkey ass until it starts to bend over, then when your feet touch the ground again, keep bending it down until you can stand on it, then wait for the satisfying crack as you dominate the bamboo at its base, and throw it off to the side, relegated to the trash heap.

I did this for about 4 minutes and I was starting to make a dent in the impenetrable forest of fucking bamboo. bamboo just snap crackling all up in your face.

the next thing I know im laying flat on my back, looking up at the clouds.

and my jaw is fucking killing me. The best I can piece it together, I think I was standing on a piece of bamboo and it snapped near my feet, instead of near the base, so it came whipping back up and connected solidly on my fucking chin. it must have snapped my head back cause I had no idea where I was when I came back for about a minute. I cant close my mouth all the way, the corners of my jaw are swollen and its affecting my hearing, bits of my teeth were broken off and felt like sandy grit in my mouth, and my chin looks like Jay Leno. hurts like a bitch.

Moral of the story/ cliff notes. saw off the shit with a jigsaw.
