Got hit in the face by a softball.

I'm on an adult softball team for my city and was practicing with my friends today. We were practicing hitting and catching pop flies... and well. I got hit in the face by a pop fly. I feel like a dumbass because it was totally my fault. My lower lip got split open and my lower gums are bleeding. Just went to the ER and got 4 stitches put in on the inside of my lower lip. Totally have a bubba lip now, and I can't work for a few days. Damnitt.

Ya, it was at 4 when the sun started going down. I didn't have a hat or sunglasses on or anything. I feel like such a dunce still though. I'm 20 years old and got hit in the face by a pop fly.

I know. I got pretty lucky. Could've hit my nose. I also have a cracked tooth from when I was 12 that could've easily broke in half if it hit me an inch higher. Then I'd be really fucked.
