Sebring Silver- 98 Z-28 camaro
Got a good laugh a minute ago
Why do car dealerships hire these dumbass salesmen that know absolutely nothing about cars? I just stopped by the chevy dealer at lunch to look at a 98 model M6 C5 vette that was priced at $19,900.00 which is in my price range. I drove the Z-28 today too just for shits and giggles, anyway I pull into the parking lot and get out to look at this vette. I leave my car running cause it's colder than shit outside, well as I'm looking at this vette a salesmen walks up. He asks if I was interested in the vette, of course, then he looks over at my Z while it's sitting there camming, " Is your car missing? It doesn't sound right. " I was like, No it's got a cam in it. He then walks around my car and asks, " What kind of car is this? It looks good but I've never seen one before. " At this point I was like WTF! I said it's a camaro, you mean to tell me you've never seen one of these before? He says no and I bust out laughing. I just got in my car and left to get some lunch, I should've gotten his manager and explained how big of a dumbass his salesman was. Just thought I'd share, I'm still laughing!!
Idiot car salesmen =

You would have to be blind as hell to have never seen a Camaro. Hell Stevie Wonder could probaly point a Camaro out and he was born blind. You should have told him that your car was Ferrari.

Man I wish I messed with the old guy a little, I still can't believe it. How can someone be that stupid? Or blind? He's probably one of these stuck up car salesmen that drives a BMW and thinks he's rich, most of them think they make a shitload of money because the dealer lets them drive new cars home. This is the second time I've had a dumbass salesman encounter at West Chevrolet here in Knoxville. The last time, this was before I bought the wife a new car, we went and looked at the 2006 Monte Carlo SS's. The sales guy kept wanting us to come and talk to the financing person and run my credit. keep in mind we just pulled up and this dumbass is trying to get me to buy a car I haven't even looked at yet. So we look at this SS monte, nice car, while the salesmen talks about how awesome it is being as SS and how it's the fastest car in it's class, blah, blah, blah.. Well the wife likes it so I ask him if we can take it down the road to see how it drives. No, I have to start the paperwork first. I don't want to start paperwork on a damn car I haven't driven yet, oh, but it's an SS and I can't drive it until my credit is ran. We drove up in my Z-28 BTW, so I got pissed and told him we'd take our business somewhere else and he could have his special " SS " monte carlo. So we went down to Grayson Pontiac, weren't hassled and bought an 05 GTP Grand Prix. Damn I hate car salesmen sometimes.

Why work for a dealership when you don't know jack about the companies products? I thought some general knowledge was required to get a sales job, guess companies will hire anyone these days.
