Black- 2001 Camaro Z28
GoPro Camera
I have been thinking about buying one of these ( the motorsports hero) and was wondering if anyone on the site has one, or has an opinion of them. I'm a little concerned that there is no rear display to really see what its view and in focus

Shot with the non-HD Hero wide angle.
What I like?
small
light
will fit anywhere
suction mount works awesome even at triple digit speeds
What I don't like?
unique and hard to work with codec
sound clarity is terrible
not so easy to understand controls
no remote start/stop

i looked into them recently, and ended up buying a cheap Oregon Scientific camera for the motorcycle trackdays
the one good thing about the Gopro is the marketing and the accessories that go with the camera. It's my opinion you can get a better quality video camera for cheaper with a flip out monitor screen. Most have a tripod screw hole so you can fab up some type of bracket inside the car...perhaps mounted to a shower curtain rod. You'd be able to see yourself, and a good view of the coarse. Plus it would be inside and protected.
