a buddy and I built a nice one with a football field, and we had lines and everything, but we never coated it with anything so the beer started ruining the paint. we drank so much there for a few months that we just bought a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood and put it over our table and never cleaned it, and we used that bitch almost every night. so what im sayin; if you drink alot just paint up a nice mdf board and put poly over it and set it on your table with a blanket under it or somethin. then when your not using it you can just lean it against a wall or put it in the garage

ive made one in the past. a door over 2 chairs the most ghetto way to do it. regulation size is 8 ft. you can do a sheet of plywood on 2 saw horses. if you want to do something a little nicer, here are my tips.

pre-made folding legs. 20 bucks. makes your life simple.

home depot also sells really thick polyurethane used for bars. i cant find it on their website, but that will protect the table if you paint it. its real thick so it will stand up to the abuse. regular poly holds up ok, but you have to put a million coats on.

I bought a ready made one for less than 100 bucks. Lightweight, folds to a briefcase shape. Regulation size...painted awesome. Why the fuck would you make one? All that for under a bill.
