Young people seem to like The Hard Rock Cafe, Mandalay Bay. The stars hang out at The Palms.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
I used to design casino games and pratically lived in vegas for 8yrs....
The two hotels I suggest for a fun crowd is and your cost:
Rio
Hard Rock Hotel (as mentioned above)
Both hotels are off the strip so they make up for it but being fun. With that being said, getting a rental car is helpful.
Rio is like Mardi Gras, they even do a nightly parade with the floats hanging from the ceiling. Plus there around the world buffet is pretty good.
Hard Rock Hotel, is just a cool place if you like music. The have a great mexican resturant called The Pink Taco. Their outdoor pool area is done up like a sandy beach with smaller waterslides and private cabanas...
with hotels, make sure to stay at ones that are on the main strip, old vegas hotels are nasty.
if you want to drop tall cash on hotels check out:
venetician
bellagio
runners up that are on strip, would be new york, aladin, paris.
hotels to avoid on the main strip, excalibur (dirty hotel), MGM, mandalay, balleys. The rest are usually filled with old people.
For a great time at dance clubs:
rum jungle, las vegas beach club.
Fun resturants:
the Harley Davidson. Best chicken fingers ever
the pink taco - excellent mexican food
Jasons Deli - best sandwich/salad shop (subway who?)
Casinos- just stay on the main strip and you will be fine. Caesars has a cool casino.
LOL remember if you want free drinks, pretend your gambling and tip your waitress well. As long as your gambling drinks are on the house!
For more ideas check out websites like:
lasvegas.com or google search. If you have any questions about places just asked me. the places I listed are just a few....

Book a package deal I used a place called Champioin Air, the flight 5 nights stay was only $300.00 per person and we had nice rooms at the Luxor!!! Check something like that out if might save you a ton of money! Oh and I just went in April with 3 friends for my 21 b-day it was truly an awesome trip!!!! Have fun!!!

I was just there at the end of August for a bachelor party. We stayed at the luxor. We had a really good time there, but just be aware that if you go to an off strip hotel you will likely spend more time there than you think you will. Its just a pain in the ass when you wake up hung over to go gamble at another hotel, because frankly gambling at one is really the same as anyother.
That being said, for 4 21 yr old guys: Mandalay Bay. There were 10 of us there at Luxor, and it seemed that 90% of all the hot chicks that we hit on (im not counting the overnight desperate chicks) were staying at mandalay. It was ridiculous.
BC
OH! and for the love of god: Set aside the money you will gamble and ONLY gmable that money. One of our friends went into debt with a bunch of us. He just wouldnt stop. When the weekend was over we were all talking and it became appearant that he had borrowed $1200 between 6 of us. Fortunately I didnt lend any money, cause that bastard will never have $1200 to pay them back with.
