So I go to Advanced Auto to buy fuel injection cleaner for my new car (which I hate). The guy started telling me that he just bought a Maxima for his daughter. I procedd to tell him that I hope the headlight never goes out. He asked me if it is the high density one that costs $132. I said yes, stupid ass bbuld. We went out so he could look at the bulb. He told me to come in tomorrow and he would exchange it. I asked how much that would cost me, and he said FREEEEEEEEE!!!! He just ordered the same bulb for someone else, and he would send mine back as defective and give the the BRAND NEW BULB FREE!!!!!!

Very nice. Pretty much a warranty job ya don't have to pay for.

I felt the same way ya did when I took my car in for the diff seal and trans seal replacement.

Naw. I am a big believer in Karma/Kismet whatever you wanna call it..
Or if you prefer..
The sun shines on every dogs ass once in a while..

I do small free shit for customers all the time.. License plate lights, battery service (clean etc)
You wouldn't believe the number of people that remember the small stuff and appreciate it..
I have had customers that were REALLY unhappy about the repairs their car needed.. One small freebie thing, smiles and, perhaps not a total turn about.. But you can definately see a mood improvement..
Random acts of kindness.. (hopefully I will do enough to overcome my life of sin and debauchery as a younger man and escape Hell... mebbe.

See how happy you were at some (not so small) free thing ?

It made me happier than you could even imagine!!!! and I told everyone I know to do something nice for someone! I tried to pay it forward!
