why gm crate? just wondering because there's tons of places that put together great engines that perform better for the same price

for a friend, guess he likes spending money but found best deals at gm parts direct.........they aren't that bad for prices.....

thats what I would do, but I don't know if he trusts any local shops to do it(I know I wouldn't) but that should not matter.......he should just send it out.
